You are purchasing a consultation appointment with Courtney to plan a custom project with Bright Side Jewelry Co.

This is a non-refundable fee.

If we move forward on a project together the consultation fee will be applied towards your ending balance !

The consultation can happen in whatever way best suits your communication style. We can chat in the DM’s on Instagram, send emails back and forth or jump on a google meets video chat, etc.

Should take about 30-35 minutes of your time - it will be scheduled with you once this listing is purchased.

Custom work is processed alongside inventory needs and can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to complete depending on the time of year current customs on deck.

Rush orders often can occur but can’t be promised, please reach out BEFORE purchasing if you’re needing a rushed timeline!

Design Elements

METALS

I only work in Sterling Silver or Gold

(14k preferred but open to discussing other karat options)

I can order gold filled chains for a pendant if you’d prefer but the jewelry I fabricate will only be completed using sterling silver or yellow gold.

STONES

We can use the time during our consultation to select a stone and/or stones for your piece of jewelry from my collection. I have lots of US MINED Turquoise and Variscite available. Moonstone, onyx and a few other small batch options as well. Sourcing additional stones for your project (especially diamonds, etc) may require time additional time added the production time of your custom , increasing the project final balance.

I rarely will set stones that belong to a customer due to the risk and liability of if a stone is damaged or cracked in the setting process. Moving forward with the process of using stones that belong to you means that you understand the risk and believe Bright Side Jewelry Co. will ensure that they are as responsible and respectful of your stones but understand that she cannot guarantee anything due to the earth creating stones that are often fragile and there being a human element at play.

Minimum baseline invoice for custom projects is $150

which means you will be charged at the minimum $150

If the cost of your item doesn't add up to $150 - you're welcome to add additional pre-made items to your order to meet the minimum requirement.

Custom projects take a lot of extra time to design together and ensure that the jewelry I am creating for you is exactly what you’re looking for - I appreciate you understanding that as a full time artist, I ask that custom inquiries are for serious customers only.

What to expect : 

Your spot in the customs queue will be confirmed once we’ve had the time to complete our consultation. The design details will be confirmed via e-mail with an invoice attached for 50% of the estimated cost of the project that must be paid BEFORE the project will be started. The remaining balance will be communicated throughout the project and the final invoice will sent upon completion. It must be paid within 5 days  once paid in full the item will be shipped or available for pick up at the Chico Farmers Market on Saturday or Sunday (depending on time of year, since it is a seasonal market)

Estimates are quoted in USD, do not include shipping costs, nor applicable taxes/import fees. It is possible that your final total will be +/- 15% due to fluctuating metal prices and the nature of creating one of a kind pieces.
