Why did I cast coffee beans in precious metal!?

Being a Barista was one of my first jobs - a mad scientist at 5 am, making beverages - warming baked goods and sending people off on their day. It was a romantic job, to me. I had the best coffee family a girl could ask for.

Handing off a cup of coffee to someone meant so much more than "here is your caffeine in a cup to go" - it meant hearing about their grad school program, getting to meet regulars family members who were visiting, checking in with community members about projects and witnessing little humans grow up to be big humans.

Casting this coffee bean made my heart SO HAPPY, the weight of them feels so good and is such a beautiful reminder of all the memories that I've made around making a cup of coffee, enjoying a cup of coffee, having one made FOR me...

... and then I thought. How special would it be if shops could work with roasters to cast their beans in precious metals... I mean,  of THE VERY BEANS they roast !!!

Tag your favorite roasters, local cafes and coffee companies in the comments or simply let them know that we can get them set up with custom silver charms of their beans ☕️
