I have a philosophy that every piece of jewelry I create finds its person.

When I say that every piece of jewelry I create eventually finds its person & is made for the person it ends up with- I typically am talking about a piece that has been with me for months and months and finally finds the person who is SO excited about calling it theirs.
This time, I'm sharing a story about a woman who came by my booth and was drawn immediately to a necklace that I had created & finished literally HOURS before she saw it - and I had only placed it out on display, MOMENTS before she walked by and saw it.
As an artist - it is SO special to me when someone shares WHY or WHO they are buying the jewelry they chose. Sometimes its for a birthday gift or sometimes its because they fall in love with a piece being unique and something they haven't seen before - sometimes its the stone itself that talks to them and not the metal work.
I typically remember peoples energy when they stop by my booth - but I'm human, and sometimes I don't. She graciously reminded me about stopping by another time and that she was searching for some jewelry that felt new to her & didn't remind her of jewelry that she already had.
She shared the most amazing story with me about why and I want to honor the sacredness of the conversation - but we'll just say... she found this piece of jewelry the morning of the day that marked 1 year from a life changing event - and to know that MY art was the piece that gets to hold such meaning... literally leaves me in tears.
To this sweet woman named Laura : thank you for sharing your story, thank you for supporting my art - and may that necklace remind you : YOU ARE HERE, right where you're supposed to be. Just like that pendant was right there when it was supposed to be on the morning it caught your eye. It couldn't have ended up with anyone other than you.
